Is 70VG and 30PG Good?
All e liquids feature just four ingredients. These are flavour concentrate, nicotine, vegetable glycerine (VG) and propylene glycol (PG). The ratio of VG to PG varies between e liquids. When an e liquid is at least 60% VG, it is known as high VG. Many high VG e liquids are 70% VG. This ratio may be expressed as 70VG/30PG or 70/30.
The higher the ratio of VG in an e liquid, the thicker the juice will be. High VG e liquids deliver impressive clouds but are suitable only for devices that boast coils with a resistance of 0.6ohm or less. Higher resistance coils don’t heat sufficiently to vaporise high VG e liquids efficiently and so the coils become clogged. For this reason, 70VG/30PG e liquids are excellent choices for sub ohm vaping but poor choices for mouth to lung (MTL) e cigs.
