About Sub-Ohm Vape Tanks

All vape kits feature coils that heat to vaporise e-liquid together with a battery or mod to power it. Vape coils are made from a variety of metals and feature diverse constructions. This means that coils vary in their electrical resistance. The lower their resistance, the higher the temperature that the coils can reach when fired. Hotter coils burn more e-liquid and so produce bigger clouds.

Electrical resistance is measured in ohms. Coils with a resistance of 0.9 ohm or less are known as sub-ohm coils. Sub ohm coils require higher output wattages to fire them. To vape sub-ohm, you will require a device that boasts sufficient power to heat sub-ohm coils and a vape tank that has a sub ohm coil installed.

Which e-liquids are suitable for sub ohm vaping?

Sub-ohm coils are compatible with e-liquids that are high in vegetable glycerine (VG). With low resistance coils (those with a resistance of 0.5ohm or less) are compatible with e-liquids that are at least 60VG.

Huge clouds are the most obvious benefit of sub-ohm vaping. But it is worth noting that you can enjoy improved flavour too.
